The largest ethnic group in Singapore mainly are the Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese and other dialect groups. The Chinese have different followers in Buddhism, Christianity and Taoism.

Chinatown a location where in the past is the meeting and worship places for the Chinese. As Chinatown is now a venue of conserved buildings with all it culture of food, cloth and interesting things to see. Olden days temple still exist at Chinatown where many of the Chinese still worship. Visit the Chinatown Heritage Center to get more knowledge of the place. During Chinese New Year, Chinatown is the most happening places and many stall will set up for this big event to celebrate it with beautiful decoration all around.
Have a look at it arts, antiques, crafts, jade, porcelain, silk, herbs & spices as you walk around the rows of small houses.
