Uni Place Singapore (Chinatown)

In Singapore, every race have it own uni place to shop, eat and know it culture of the past. It the best way to know and feel how it like of each race on its uni food, cloth and places.

Chinese
The largest ethnic group in Singapore mainly are the Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese and other dialect groups. The Chinese have different followers in Buddhism, Christianity and Taoism.

Chinatown
Chinatown a location where in the past is the meeting and worship places for the Chinese. As Chinatown is now a venue of conserved buildings with all it culture of food, cloth and interesting things to see. Olden days temple still exist at Chinatown where many of the Chinese still worship. Visit the Chinatown Heritage Center to get more knowledge of the place. During Chinese New Year, Chinatown is the most happening places and many stall will set up for this big event to celebrate it with beautiful decoration all around.

Have a look at it arts, antiques, crafts, jade, porcelain, silk, herbs & spices as you walk around the rows of small houses. Remember to bargain as it a place to bargain until the price you feel good and right to buy.

Variety of Chinese food are waiting for all food taster to eat and fill your stomach with those yummy food. Try the BBQ Pock, Fried Kway Teow, Fried Hokkien Mee, Oyster Omelette, Chicken Rice and many more Chinese food with lot of people queuing for it.

Uni Airport - Singapore

Singapore World Class Airport (Changi Airport) that have the best service and beauty at the world stage.

Don't just treat it as a place for people to arrival and depart in the airport. But it also a place where you can enjoy variety of food or relax in many cafe of your choice or shop around on various of shop and supermarket. Leave some time to explore the airport and you will feel the taste of world class.

Changi Airport Terminal 2 have most of the place for food, shop and cafe. You can enjoy cheap food at the canteen located on 3rd level car park where a staircase will lead you up to the canteen. There at your sight is full of stalls selling different type of food and drinks. Got Chinese, Malay, Indian & Western food for you to try out. Not forgetting some of the stalls selling Thai and Japanese food also. You can also relax at some of the beautiful cafe or any of the restaurants there.

There is a must try dishes on the Western Food stall. It 'Grilled Catfish & Grilled Chicken' taste wonderful. The chicken is so tender and juicy that come with the heavenly sauce of your choice. 'Grilled Catfish' taste creamy soft that will melt into your mouth with the awesome taste. Another must try dish is the 'Fried Hokkien Mee'. The Chinese dish fill with yummy noodle that once you eat, it will let you eat non-stop with your chop-stick. Also the Malay food 'Gado Gado' a famous Malay side dish fill with satay sauce that fill up your hungry taste.

So don't hesitate, since already at the airport go on and roam around to relax and enjoy the taste of Asia.

Singapore Transport

Singapore Transport is always so easy, cheap and convenient to travel around in this small country. Strongly encourage to explore around the places using public transport, so that you can get to see the live of the people and it's culture.

Most of the public transport stop at the location near the hotels, shopping area, popular food area and most of the tourist attraction. As when I start to introduce those places in my coming blog, I will indicate what the best in using the transport and where to stop at the location. So stay tune on my blog.

3 of the main transport provider are the:

1)Bus service (name as SBS)

Around the whole island with mostly all the stop for a great transport and viewing. Check the website for more information on where and how to alight or stop at various location and fares prices.

2)MRT (local train)

SBSTransit - http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/journeyplan/nel_travelguide.asp

There are 2 local train provider, SMRT & SBSTransit. Fast and convenient. Check the website for more info on where and how to alight or stop at the locations and also the fares price.

SMRT will provide North South lines(NSL) & East West lines(EWL).

Some of the popular stop for attraction -

Under the NSL are Marina Bay, Raffles Place, City Hall, Dhoby Ghaut, Somerset, Orchard, and Netwon. Under the EWL are Changi Airport, Bugis, Chinese Garden and Jurong East.

For SBSTransit will provide the North East Line(NEL) and soon more route will be added as plan.

Some popular stop for attraction under the NEL are Harbourfront, Chinatown, Clarke Quay and Little India.

3)Taxis

Like most of the country, it travel and stop where you like or request. Can hail a taxis at the taxis stand or along the roadside. Of course the money spent will be much more higher than taking the other two transport.

Uni Country (Singapore)

Uni Country, as the earth smallest country located in South East Asia.

'Singapore' an island people describe it as a 'single dot' in the world map. But to the world eyes, it's a happening country to enjoy the colourful variety for a taste of life.

A country you must visit that bring the best out of a holiday trip to experience different type of culture, people, yummy food, shopping and it great tourist attraction.

'Singapore' with it multi - races that comply of Chinese, Malay, Indian & Eurasian that live there. It provide the land full of great & yummy food because of it multi- races that it a must try of the local food. Also most of the place is fill with shopping paradise of multi level shopping center to shop and entertain yourself of the variety of services provided. Can't leave out it nature beauty with those tourist attraction on it garden and history. So why miss out all these great fun to relax and enjoy a beautiful place plus yummy food that not to be miss out for a dream and idea holiday of a life time.
